(London.CityRegions.com, June 18, 2013 ) England, UK -- Warren Buffett once said that “It’s nice to have a lot of money, you know, but you don’t want to keep it around forever. I like buying things. Otherwise it’s like saving sex for your old age.” He makes a good point, so investing is one of the best things you can do with your money.
Forex trading is for those investors that like to get huge returns for their money. The foreign exchange currency market is the largest market in the world and average daily trading across the globe amounts to $4 trillion dollars. That’s 35 times the New York Stock Exchange and four times the world’s gross domestic product.
Because Forex trading uses entirely cash, it’s one of the most liquid and simple markets in the world. Unlike trading futures or equities, the commissions with Forex are completely free. While major banks and financial institutes take up most of the market, every day people are now able to take advantage and compete in the global cash exchange.
The three countries major forex trading countries are The United Kingdom, which takes up 32.4% of the market, The United States, which takes up 18.2%, and Japan, with 7.6%.
The most successful currency trader in May of 2013 was the Deutsche Bank, with 15.18% overall volume. The Citibank came in second with 14.90% percent of the market share. Barclay’s Investment Bank, UBS AG, HSBC, JPMorgan, Royal Bank of Scotland, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Merrill Lynch were also part of the top 10 currency traders for last month.
“Successful investing is anticipating the anticipations of others,” John Maynard Keynes said about the trading market. In Talmudic (or biblical) times, Jesus was angry with the modern “money-changers” for setting up their shop in the temple. These people were the original forex traders, who would go on to help others convert currencies for a small commission or fee for the service.
