(London.CityRegiions.com, November 29, 2012 ) Chelmsford Essex, UK -- It was not simply the Dallas Cowboy’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons that angered Owner and General Manager Jerry Jones. It was that he was apparently locked out of the post-game locker-room discussion. Jones was denied access to the Cowboys’ locker room following the 19-13 loss to the Falcons on the “Sunday Night Football” matchup. Matt Barrie of NBC in Dallas-Fort Worth reported the apparent unintentional snubbing via twitter. "Jerry Jones just pounded locker room door because no one would let him in," Barrie tweeted. "It's the angriest I've seen him all year." Jones did eventually find his way into the locker room, and did his usual fielding of questions. He was notably frustrated by both the lockout and the performance of the team. The Cowboys were, at the time, 3-5, far below the season expectations halfway through the season. To make matters worse, the loss was another indicator of Jones’ general ineffectiveness that was touched upon earlier by an interview with Bob Costas on the NBC broadcast. In the interview, Jones fielded questions about his ability to be a useful general manager, and if he would have fired himself if he was not both the Owner and GM. Jerry indicated that he would have by now. He added in a Yogi-Beraish statement, that you cannot remove yourself from yourself, and so you have to live with yourself. "I've always worked for myself and you can't do that," Jones said of firing himself as general manager. "You basically have to straighten that guy out in the mirror when you work for yourself. But certainly, if I'd had the discretion, I've done it with coaches and certainly I would have changed a general manager." Since the ridiculousness of the loss and lockout, the Cowboys have won two straight. They have a rather favorable schedule ahead of them as well, allowing their fans the opportunity of dreaming of a playoff berth.
