(London.CityRegions.com, July 07, 2013 ) London, UK -- On Friday, June 27, 2013, the SEO industry lost a very influential man in the market. After battling an illness for a long time, Ted Ulle, president of WebMasterWorld and recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, passed away in his home.
Known by the SEO community as “Tedster”, he worked with and for many of the largest internet companies today from HP to ebay, but still had time to guest post on many SEO blogs about sticky mail and send anonymous users in the right direction for internet marketing.
In 2000, he joined the ranks of WebMasterWorld as an administrator and gained a large number of followers in the early days of Google to stay up to date and help shape SEO. In 2012 he was awarded the WebMasterWorld Lifetime Achievement Award for the groundbreaking work he did for SEO and other internet marketing influences.
Ted had over 3,500 public posts on SEO and had hundreds of other private ones, as well as experience talking at public internet conventions on the power of SEO and how it changed over time. It’s clear that Ted has been a very influential, well-liked and respected member of the SEO industry. All you have to do is peruse the WebmasterWorld thread and see what his peers have to say about him.
