Active Athletes, a new sporting company, offers advice for people to lose weight and enjoy healthy knees. They say that running is one of the best ways to keep the knees and legs strong throughout life.
According to the company, running is not for everyone. However a healthy dose of running is good for everyone to maintain basic health. While running a marathon is definitely not for everyone, most people can benefit from a short ten minute jog every day.

By taking small steps, a person can begin with walking, then move to a slow skip, and eventually jog and sprint. A good running workout is to sprint, and then jog, then sprint then jog. This is also called high intensity interval training and is excellent for overall health.
High intensity is more effective than jogging, and takes up less time. When a person is ready to do this sort of workout, it's recommended by Active Athletes to take on the challenge and enjoy very strong legs and knees.
